Made By Kimberley

Kimberley Brockett is the creator. She has a little girl who is 8 months old and She is currently on maternity leave from her usual
job as a neonatal nurse, caring for premature and sick babies.

Kimberley carries out her making and creating at her home in Thetford.

I asked Kimberley what was her Inspiration behind Made By Kimberley and she said:

'I've always been a creative and crafty person, I love floral, fabric and personalised items. I came across a metal stamping kit in my local hobby store, so I decided to look it up and see what was involved. I liked what i saw so i decided to give it a go and i just loved it.
I first made a few items for myself and then friends began asking for some items too. So it took off from there in about  September 2016.

So, how is it going for Kimberley now, 6 months down the line?

Amazingly she tells me. She never thought she would be as busy as she is now. She thought that just before Christmas was a Christmas rush, but it hasn't quietened down at all since then. Kimberley said she is so grateful for every purchase :) Happy Dance Moment :)

Kimberley makes the most gorgeous bracelets, necklaces and key-rings. All are bespoke and customised.

The most popular item to date is the floral liberty fabric bangles. ( I must say these are so pretty, perfect gifts for mothers day. I will definitely be making a purchase )

Kimberley has lots of new styles coming soon, particularly bracelets and some beautifully crafted Rose Gold Designs.

She is so full of ideas, she just doesn't know which to create first. Keep watching Kimberley's space to be sure not to miss anything.

Has Instagram been a positive influence to Made by Kimberley?

'Yes it has been amazing, it's where most of my customers come from'

What are the pros and cons for Kimberley of running this new business venture?

'The best thing is being able to make lovely things for people and hearing all their positive feedback'.

It must be so uplifting and a real confidence boost to anyone who puts in so much personal time and effort.

'The only downside is that I have to work almost every evening to keep up with the amount of orders. But this is of course a positive thing too'
